Infra descripte a news report:
Diane Von Furstenberg’s Fall 2009 collection was an eclectic mix of serious fabrics,
flat iron, daring prints,
shoes, and recurring pompom hats. It was a strong collection, considering the economic times. The collection strutted down the runway bringing a mix of boho chic, with a dash of seventies glamour.
DVF layered heavy embroideries on top of busy patterns. The collection relied heavily on the use of camouflage and leopard prints. The prints could have seemed slightly outdated coming down a different runaway but Von Furstenberg had a fresh approach.
Most of the looks from the collection were paired with
shoes: a trend that clearly doesn’t want to go away. For eveningwear, Diane chose a sleek dress in velvet leopard and another option in metallic. And then there were the hats. Each look was paired with a hat that was practically drowning in oversized pompoms. It takes a unique woman to brave the look, but an even bolder one to create it.
